Athlete of the Week: Fayetteville’s Jasmine Franklin

Fayetteville High's Jasmine Franklin's dominating double-double vaulted the Lady Bulldogs into the Class 7A State Championship.

The 6-foot-1 junior forward was 5-of-7 from the floor to finished with 13 points in a 49-40 win over Little Rock Central. She also had a whopping 19 rebounds, including 11 of team’s 22 offensive boards, in only 20 minutes of action. In the quarterfinals, Franklin had 10 points.

For her effort, Franklin is the Athlete of the Week.
