SPRINGDALE — Senior running back Nic Roller ran for 330 yards and four touchdowns on 37 carries as Bixby, Okla., outlasted Springdale High for a 57-38 win to spoil the debut of the newly renovated Jarrell Williams Bulldog Stadium.

Bixby junior quarterback Tanner Griffin also had a big game, throwing for 304 yards and three touchdowns as the Spartans totaled 671 yards. Bentonville 37, Tallahassee (Fla.) Rickards 8 — Another look

BENTONVILLE — There was nothing wrong with Bentonvile's start Friday night, and the same can be said about the Tigers' finish. It was the middle part of its game against Tallahassee (Fla.) Rickards where Bentonville had a few problems. After scoring touchdowns on their first two possessions, the Tigers (3-0) had three drives go inside the Rickards 20, but they had to settle for a pair of Hayden Moerhing field goals as they built a 20-0 halftime lead. Springdale Har-Ber’s first road trip of the season was a rousing success.

Har-Ber erupted for three scores in the second quarter and rolled to a 37-7 victory over Conway Friday at John McConnell Stadium. The outcome was a reversal from last season when Conway won 31-15 at Wildcat Stadium.

Fuller Chandler threw two touchdown passes in the first half to help stake Har-Ber to a 24-0 lead. Chandler finished with 240 yards passing on 12 of 17 completions. The Wildcats (2-1) increased their lead to 37-0 before Conway (1-2) scored in the fourth quarter to avoid the shutout.

ROGERS — The fourth quarter belonged to Jefferson City, Mo. Friday night.

Jeff City scored 21 unanswered points the final 10 minutes, 19 seconds as the Jays rallied to defeat Rogers High 28-24 at Whitey Smith Stadium.

CONWAY — Springdale Har-Ber grabbed a 24-0 lead at halftime and rolled to a 37-7 victory over Conway Friday in non-conference action.

Fuller Chandler added two more touchdown passes before he threw his first interception of the year. The senior now has 12 touchdown passes in three games.

Pulaski Academy needed a second-half comeback to beat Wynne 35-21 in a rematch of the Class 5A state championship game. The Bruins will have their hands full again Friday, as they host defending Class 4A champion Warren.

The Lumberjacks are 2-0 and have outscored Smackover and Stuttgart 114-57. Pulaski Academy is also 2-0, outscoring its opponents 75-34.
