Richard, What is the definite word on Cobb? Is he going to JC or PG or is there still a chance that he could make his grades and/or test score? Also, where do we stand with Neal and is it the 10th he announces? And if not Neal, any perspective on what we will do?

It is important to note that many kids that go out of state or to other in-state schools were not offered scholarships by the U or may have ties to another state as Brooks did only moving to Arkansas later in life. Arkansas recruited Brooks and wanted him to come. You can’t make a player come and who would want a player to come to your school if they really wants to be someplace else. Frazier saw Mallet and Wilson as obstacles. He was right. At best, he would have been second string at Arkansas. Mitchell is a better QB than Frazier mainly because Arkansas knows how to develop players. As for HDN, Arkansas loved him. He made his own problems and still got a boat load of money when he left and then went to our arch rivals. He showed a lot of class and loyality there. Great to hear Tenpenny and Henry are coming soon for a visit. Arkansas will present its opportunity and if they say no, then Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Hey, Hey Good-bye.

well 1st of all we have 3 players taller than 6’4 WAITE.HUNTER AND SANCHEZ teams believe just put it up and let there big beat us up on the boards. I for 1 am very proud of the team ark puts on the floor While in Fayetteville last week to watch my 10 year old nephew play a game which is a long drive from hot springs for a boys club game we went to the mall to get his bday present; BJ and Nobles where in the store they list Bj at 6’4 my cousin with me is all of 6’2 1/2 they where the same size. Without Powell this team has really done more than any of us expected I believe with him we would have maybe 3 or 4 wins at this point. I do do believe on this blog before the season started everyone was hoping for a chance to play in the post season we are in the mix for ncaa if we can piece together some wins late in the season with of our last 6 on road. I think we would beat about ant any team in the sec except Kentucky on a neutral floor which makes us a hard draw. We don’t have a power game to make people respect us inside. Abrams plays below the rim gets his shot blocked to much. These guys I am proud how they represent the hog nation. Winning on the road has been hard for arkansas in the sec with the exception of the 94 and 95 teams so why don’t we just support our players. It will take time there was a time when ark had 3-5000 fans at away games but you start a program success by winning at home and stealing a couple on the road. When we get our 1st road win and our players feel it because we are right there we will be fine.

I honestly think they put Nobles down there because Madden acts like a wet cat when he handles the ball at the end of games. They don’t want to risk him getting the rebound and losing it. Then again, a 6’0 PG doesn’t really stand a chance of getting the rebound in the first place. Oh well.

Maybe these kids remember how HDN was treated by this state. Maybe their coaches remember how HDN was treated. HDN was little rock born and raised and people still bash him. Question might not be what’s wrong with the UofA what’s wrong with the fans. We mat need to look in a mirror to see why the kids are leaving . Why stay home if your state is going to treat you that way ? Just food fir thought. No I’m not a nutt lover , I’m glad we changed . The man didn’t deserve the treatment he got from the fans either

I know how you feel Hogen. Hard to understand how you can grow up in Ark and not want to be a Hog. However, you do want the kids that WANT to be Razorbacks. Those in state guys are usually leaders before and after they hit campus. The Jeremy’s are going to be great for the program.

Oh and whose bright idea is it to keep putting Nobles down on the low block during FT’s???? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen!
