Dillard gets long-awaited offer from Arkansas

Michigan offensive lineman Cameron Dillard received a long awaited scholarship offer from Arkansas on Feb. 9.
Dillard, 6-3 1/2, 290, 5.3 seconds in the 40-yard dash, out of Canton High School, now has 16 other offers, including Oregon, Florida, Arizona State, West Virginia and Mississippi State. He said he calls offensive line coach Chris Klenakis every Thursday night.
“I’ve been talking to coach K for over a year now,” Dillard said. “I sent him my film last year and he looked at it and he was fired up, and we’ve been talking ever since then.”
Dillard, who made an unofficial visit to Arkansas with his parents for the Hogs’ 49-7 victory over Tennessee on Nov. 12, said Klenakis never doubted the Hogs would offer.
“He said he had the faith in me the whole time that I could be a Hog,” Dillard said.
The visit to Arkansas ensured Dillard the Hogs had the three ‘A’s’: atmosphere, athletics and academics.
Now with 17 offers, Dillard said he’ll likely narrow down his list of schools in the near future.
“Pretty soon I’m going to sit down with my family and start discussing the pros and cons of schools, and go from there,” Dillard said, “And try and find out what best fits me and I can succeed for the next four-to-five years and look at each program to see if they have the three ‘A’s’ I’m looking for.”
He said hopes to makes his college decision during the summer.

Am I missing something? Where are the big ten schools with this kid?
He is just under 6’4″ and just under 300 pounds. He has quite a few offers from some quality and top ranked schools. Looks like a very good prospect. Wonder how this is going to play out considering the talks to Coach K regularly.

Also Richard do you have any idea if RB Ty Isaac is interested in the Hogs I know we offered and Coach Paul P is recruiting him but I haven’t see anything on here
There must be something in the water in Michigan. Canton’s offensive line looks like they average about 6’3″ and 270 a man. Dillard plays at a good level, has some snap when he makes contact, and has a little nasty (good sign for an offensive lineman) in him.
Mr. Dillard, if you read this take some advice from someone who has been trapped of the confines of this lurky, errie and place of brimstone A.K.A Michigan. Just kidding buddy the brimstone was thrown in as a joke. Heed my advice and run for the Hill baby! Go Hogs Go!
