Florida tight end Kyle Chung will be visiting Arkansas on Saturday and seeing his first college basketball game, too. Click here for junior highlights
Chung, 6-3, 240, 4.9, of Ponte Vedra High School, is receiving interest from Arkansas, Virginia, Miami, Florida State, Mississippi State and others. Receiver coach Kris Cinkovich told him of the Hogs taking on South Carolina in Bud Walton Arena.
“Coach messaged me and told me we get to go to a basketball game,” Chung said. “I’ve never been to a college basketball game ever so I think that would be a pretty cool experience.”
Chung has been given a heads up on what to expect when he arrives in Arkansas.
“I want to see if I like the campus because a couple of my friends use to live up there and moved from down here and they say it’s really nice,” Chung said. “It should be a good experience.”
Arkansas’ success on the field is attractive to Chung.
‘They had a really good year this past season,” Chung said. “If I play in college, I want to play in a winning program .”
A very good work ethic and leadership skills are two qualities Chung said he possess.
” I’m in the weight room every morning at 7:30 a.m,” Chung said. “I’m the first one there and the last one to leave. I push people to work harder when they’re not. I try to get people there that aren’t there.”
