at this rate Lynch will be gassed by the 4th
Adams bunts to Fic @ 1st and Fic tags him out…1 down for Florida in the top of the 2nd. Pickett hangs tough (12 pitches) and eventually grounds one up the middle for a hit. Maddox batting and Adams steals second and Maddox lines one to center and Adams scores giving Florida the lead 1-0 with 1 one in the top of the 2nd and a runner on 1st. Umpire calls catcher interference and now there are runners on 1st and 2nd. Batter flies out to short center and the runners stay at 1st and 2nd…..2 outs. Full count on the batter and the runners will be off with the pitch. Smith walks and the bases are loaded. Fontana will be batting and Dave Jorn is going to the mount as the Hog bull pen starts warming up. Lynch has thrown a lot of pitches….Fontana grounds out leaving the bases loaded and Florida leads the Hogs 1-0 with the Hogs coming to bat in the bottom of the 2nd. .

McCann tagged out with a great play….one down and Robinson comes to the plate. Robinson lines to left for the second out and then we pop out for the 3rd out……Man we need to make their pitcher throw more pitches……Lynch has got to be tired. After 2 innings Florida leads 1-0.

Carver batting with 2 outs and singles….2 outs and Carver on first….Carver is a threat to steal……Carver caught trying to steal and the innings over. Gators still leading 1-0 and batting in the top of the 4th.

Pickett, Maddox, and Moyer will bat this inning; Pickett goes down and Maddox batting. Maddox hit by Lynch and is given 1st; Moyer batting with one out and a runner on first. Moyer is 0-4 for the series and he pops out…make that 0-5. Two down and I can’t spell this clown’s name who’s batting with 2 down and a runner on 1st. What’s His Name is batting 462 and he pops up to end the inning and the Hogs will bat trailing 1-0.

Bigham singles to lead off the inning……Kuhn up next. Bigham goes to 2nd on a wild pitch, tries to take 3rd, and gets nailed….one down and Colin @ the plate with a full count. Man that’s a tough break. Kuhn flies deep to center…Fic bats with 2 outs and he flies out deep to end the inning. Florida bats in the top of the 5th leading 1-0.
