Texas teammates getting noticed

Arkansas has been in hot pursuit of tight end Chris Barnett at L.D. Bell high school in Hurst, Texas but now it appears they’re also evaluating his teammate, running back Kenneth Farrow.
Farrow, 5-10, 193, 4.52 reports scholarship offers from Houston, Tulsa and Utah along with drawing interest from numerous others schools. He believes Baylor and Minnesota are close to offering.
In Bells’ opening game against Mansfield Legacy, Farrow shined with 28 carries and 242 yards in a 30-20 victory.
“A lot of the bigger programs are saying they want to see my first couple of games.” Farrow said of other possible offers. “Coming out on Friday’ and having that performance was definitely good for me. The O-line was definitely came together and giving me holes and I was taking advantage of it.”
Farrow, who reports a 3.0 grade-point average 3.0 and plans to eventually become coach, saw limited action last season after suffering an ankle injury but still managed 622 yards on 127 carries as a junior. His sophomore season was outstanding with 1,384 yards on 213 carries and 16 touchdowns.
“It’s definitely downhill,” Farrow said of his running style. “I don’t like wasting time going to the sidelines. I would rather get the ball between the holes. It’s downhill and lowering my shoulder. Once I do get in the open field, I’m pretty shifty for a guy my size. So I can make a couple of people miss. Overall, I’m strong and I run through arm tackles. Arm tackles aren’t going to take me down. I always like to say I make the first person miss. That’s my goal; never let one person bring me down.”
Barnett has talked well about Arkansas.
“He talks about it a lot,” said Farrow, who reports a 265-pound bench press and 450 squat. “I know he really likes it there. He just tells me SEC.”
Farrow is fully aware of the reputation of the SEC conference.
“I know too that if you start in the SEC as a running back that most of them go to the NFL,” Farrow said. “I know the SEC is a tough conference and you have to be a player to play in it. I know its great conference and every team is good. Like Chris said, if you start in the SEC as a running back you have a good future.”

I like this kid he looks like a pinball hitting the bumpers in a pinball machine.
Richard, who is Jennifer Godwin, can you introduce her? thanks
this kids ability to run through contact is impressive
very aggressive, i like it.
on a side note..
Why, if the NCAA/Media are making such a huge deal a/b agent-player contact, do they only slap these kids on the wrist. Dareus (Bama, DL) got suspended 2 games (was 4 apparently). If i was a player and got to go party and receive the perks of fraternizing with agents and miss only 2 cupcake games and be back for my conference schedule, I’d party like a rock star.
Make the punishment severe and players might actually decide to follow the rules, b/c it is ultimately the players responsibility..not the university.
I think it is just as much the responsibility of the agent as it is the player. Why are agents allowed to set up enticements for these kids that they know will get the player and the university in trouble but there is no downside risk for the agent? That is what is missing. Agents that are caught offering “illegal” inducements to sign under age players should be banned by the NFL from being able to represent players. Until there are penalties for these a##hole agents this problem is not going to go away, and Arkansas can become a victim just as easily as USC can. It’s idiotic right now. It’s almost like getting mugged in a dark alley and you get arrested for being mugged.
Bo Matt just said Memphis media is reporting Masoli has been cleared to play immediately
