Bray’s first offer was from Arkansas

Arkansas was the first school to offer a scholarship to defensive end C.J. Bray of James Island, South Carolina. He was one of two prospects featured in Tuesday’s recruiting column. Bray, 6-7, 240, 5.0 is also drawing interest from Georgia, South Carolina, Clemson, Illinois, East Carolina and Alabama along with some Ivy league schools.

Arkansas just one of Coe’s many offers

In Tuesday’s recruiting column, Illinois running back/ linebacker Rodney Coe talked about his interest in Arkansas and upcoming visit in June. Coe, 6-3, 240, 4.54 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Edwardsville estimates having about 30 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Missouri and Nebraska.

Arkansas interested in Valentine

Arkansas is working hard to land the signature of Edwardsville, Illinois running back Rodney Coe for the 2011 recruiting class but they’re also interested in sophomore defensive lineman Vincent Valentine. Valentine, 6-4, 298, 5.12 has 13 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas State and Auburn.

Kissinger enjoyed visit with Petrino
