Hello everybody. Nice day up here in the panhandle. Approx 55 degrees with rain and thunderstorms starting to develop right now. I may have to turn off my computer. I know the game is televised on ESPNU but we don’t get it on our cable. Too bad it’s not on espn3. Go hogs and Woo Pig Sooie!

Kuhn leads off with a pop up to the 2nd baseman; Bigham’s up next and he flies to center – two down. Cox bats and he strikes out but the catcher has to throw him out @ 1st; the rebels come to bat in the bottom of the 1st with the game scoreless.
Ferguson, (.332), leads off for Old Mrs. and bounces to Cox and Cox throws him out on a close play – one down. Yarbrough lines a double thru the infield into left and cruises into 2nd; Smith, who homered last night, just homered again and Old Mrs. leads 2-0. Ot Oh!!!! Sample lines a single to left. Oh My Gorsh, McCann out to talk to Baxendale; no activity in the bull pen. Hashman walks on 4 pitches and Jorn is out to mound to talk to Bax.

Phillips batting and he lines one to Sample in left for the 1st out and Hamlin stays on 1st. Now Ferguson and the top of the order is coming up. Ferguson reaches on a fielder’s choice – two down. McCann out to talk to Baxendale again; Bax may be settling down some. Yarbrough is batting now; Ferguson, I think, dislocated a finger sliding back into 1st and the trainer is out to look @ it. Yarbrough singles and runners are now @ the corners with Smith, who just homered last @ bat and also yesterday, coming to the plate. Van Horn has seen enough and he’s bringing in Forrest.

on a positive note, I really like the way Forrest has pitched tonight. He’s really doing a nice job of moving the ball from side to side; working the corners; mixing it up.
