2011 SF Adonis Thomas, 6-6, 211 of Memphis Melrose is ranked the no. 14 player in the nation by Van Coleman of Hoopmasters.com. He has numerous offers, including one from Arkansas. He’ll be playing for the Memphis Magic in Real Deal in the Rock April 16-18.

Tight end/ defensive end Quentin Griffin of Rayville, La., was recently offered a scholarship by Arkansas along with his teammate and defensive lineman Gerrand Johnson.

Receiver’s interest in Arkansas growing

Receiver Lorenzo Smith 5-11, 175, 4.44 of Dallas Richland reports receiving an offer from Arkansas about a month and half ago. He’s drawing interest from Kansas, Baylor, Kansas State, Purdue, UNLA and Texas A&M.

Feldt still working out, broken ankle and all

Offensive lineman Cam Feldt, 6-5, 290, 5.3 had a dream season by going 15-0 and winning the state class 2A championship for Pilot Point but his season ended a half too soon. He broke an ankle in the championship game after getting blocked from behind.

For Charpentier, graduation one day, UA the next

Arkansas signee/offensive lineman Luke Charpentier will graduate on May 28 and plans to arrive the next day in Fayetteville in time for classes on June 1.
