FWIW, UAPB’s quest to become Arksnsas’s lone NCAA team continues. They beat Alabama St today and will play the Grambling/Tx Southern winner in the finals tomorrow. During the season, they split with Tx So and swept Grambling. Go Golden Lions!
gosh, i’m sitting here trying to remember the last time i’ve seen a Razorback baseball game live, in person…i think it was back when Kevin McReynolds played and it was on the campus of the University of Houston.
i really need to get up to Fayetteville and see a game @ Baum!!

I was lucky enough to see the Hogs play 2 games in person in last year’s CWS, the Cal St Fullerton game and the 1st against LSU. I sure hope the Hogs can make it back this year. This is the last year the games will be at the ‘Blatt and I’ll be going again regardless of who plays. If you’ve never been to the CSW I highly, highly recommend it. It’s so much fun and the fans from all the teams are supportive and friendly. LSU and Texas always seem to be there and they always have the most fans. One of may favorite memories from last year was when we played LSU and there were some UA college kids who were all painted up in red and white and each one had a letter painted on his chest spelling out “GO HOGS”. However, one of the kids (I think Mr. ‘G’)was an LSU fan and was painted up in purple and gold and was probably just good friends with the UA students. He did his yelling for LSU but also took part in the UA cheers. It was actually quite funny and everybody loved it.
