man that’s surprising. Hope this isn’t a mistake like the treyvon daniels situation. I’m glad we’re on this kid early. Must be a pretty big time athlete to get an offer this early on in the process.
What’s that say about Brad Shearin?
Has this been confirmed? Not much in stats…
Richard, is there something about this kid that isn’t apparent to us uninformed masses?
6-2 177 lbs 4.47 sophomore is pretty good, guys.
Thats what I was thinking MRPRFCT. Were talking about a 6-2 sophomore that averaged almost 20 yards per catch.
I can see what they like, soph. 38 catchs/700 yard, 6’2″ 177
4.4/40. We are studing film early, and offering. Bobby has said
he does not recruit Stars, or players that get stars running
around in their undies. But rather of off watching them on the
field with pads, performing. Great Idea, they don’t need pencil
pushers to put a star by an athelete in order to indentify them.

Tim Horton talked to Coach Coleman last night and told him of the offer. He then called Coleman this morning and was able to tell Brooks of the offer.

I’ve heard good things about Zac from people I trust.
Richard, any chance the kid commits early?

That’s good enough for me!! Thanks for all your hard work Richard.
Something tells me that he is a fine young man all the way around as well. I’d be suprised otherwise, based on CBP’s recruiting criteria.
Kid plays WR on a team that runs alot. He was pubbed last year as one of the top Sophs in the state. Has great speed–top soph good early offer.

I would imagine Arkansas wants to see Brad in camp. It worked out for Braylon Mitchell last year.
Btw, Coach Coleman said Zac would be a full time RB next year. He raved about Zac as a young man.
6’2″ 177 as a soph makes you think he’ll grow out of RB and into a childs like receiver.. just seems that the trend for RBs of late are that bowling balls (maurice jones-drew, dyer type) are being sought after for they can absorb the punishment better.
Never the less, with that athleticism i’m sure he could play anywhere in highschool, just would like to see him polish up his route running before he ultimately commits to the hawgs (fingers crossed)
Zac played Jr .High at Osceola and was a great player and a great kid, Hogs will be getting a good one, works hard both on and off the field.
Zach has great hands and good speed. He ran a 10.7 100M the other day. As far as the question on Brad, his only ? mark is, does he have SEC type speed, he has all the other intangibles. I think he does, and expect an offer in the end.
