http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/recruiting/football/news/story?id=4976283
he is a “deceptively adequate” athlete??!! LMAO WTF. Thats quite the way to pay a complement. good article though.
Richard, just wanted you to know Brey has received offer #16 from the Memphis Tigers also.
What you guys think about what Powell says about being a leader
Anyone with a Rivals account will you please post who the new offer at RB is? Otis is reporting it’s BIG, big time.
Here’s some BIG news(sarcasm)…UAPB could be our state’s lone rep in the NCAAs. They are the 2 seed in their confernece tourney and won today to get to the semis. The 1 seed, Jackson St, was just upset by the 8 seed. I would imagine they would have to go to the play-in game if they make it, but it would be a nice story since they’ve never been.
Rodney Coe has been offered as a RB by Arkansas. His other BIG offers are as a LB according to Trey Biddy.
http://rivals.yahoo.com/Connecticut/football/recruiting/player-Rodney-Coe-99202
UAPB would get an automatic bid for the tourney if they win the SWAC championship, they wouldn’t have to play the “play-in” game. I hope they make qualify, it would be the first time ever.
Otis reports EVERYTHING is big time.
Whish we would get a shifty game changer at running back
Coe is a 5 star prospect according to scout.com
They list him as 6-3 230 with a 4.54 40.
They show his position as RB/LB and list him the #6 prospect by his position. I am not sure if that is for RB or LB
Ron in Germany, Thanks for the post and link. I wish CBP would make a push for a speed back. This kid is an below average looking SEC running back( He has a nice high step and decent vision but no speed, quickness or moves for a SEC RB)IMO. I can see where he is a 5* LB is very big looks like a Rolando McClain type. Here is his a highlight tape.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOTMc92OX7A
Personally I think his speed and size combo is very very good. He breaks tackles left and right.
I think many agree he looks more like a LB, but if he wants a chance to be a RB and Arkansas is willing to give him that chance maybe we have a shot. If it doesn’t work out there I am sure he would be able to play right away as a LB.
Blake, He is 6’3 230lbs going against high school kids I think he’s going to break tackels left and right. How many times did you see him get caught from behind or make a RB move?
If you’re 6’3″, 230 lbs., how many RB moves do you need to make?
Also, the efficiantcy of breaking tackles should be determined by the talent of the opposing competition, not their age catagory.
