Shiloh Christian LB Mitchell Roberts has decided to walk-on at Kansas State.
The Wildcats are full on their allotted scholarships but have told Roberts they expect him to earn a one quickly.
Roberts visited Arkansas over the weekend.

I dont get why he would rather walk on at K-State than Arkansas… Maybe he figured he would have a better shot at a Scholarship there…

Man I really wanted Mithell here at Arkansas…I thought he had it all.
Size, ability and grades….it is a mystery to me why he was not offered. Richard, can you please shed some light on why he was not offered?
I understood that he was not quick-a-foot/fast.

Last year I read a lot about Mitch Hall being better than his older brother. I have not heard much about him this year. If he is good, do we even have a chance know that his brother has left? Not sure why his brother left?

I watched Mitchell Roberts in the Shiloh vs. Greenwood game. I’m not saying he isn’t very good, but in that particular game, he didn’t look that quik. What stood out to me the most though was his lack of instincts, or at least it looked that way. His reaction time to the developement of the play looked slow.
Because of that, I never really saw the agressiveness I was looking for.
Who really knows. That was the only time I ever got to see him play, plus I was trying to keep up with what Samual Harvill was doing as well. Just my opinion though.
I hope Mitchell does well at K-State. I thought he had an offer from Tulsa? Not sure why he would walk-on K-State and not go to Tulsa.. must have some ties to KS.

GonzoHog, how did Sam Harvill look in that game? I’ve never seen him live, only a few clips. Is he really as awesome as the clips make him appear?
I hope we don’t spend one single second on Mitch Hall. It would be a waste of everyone’s time. He is going to be a Rebel. Him, his brother, and family are nothing more then nutt lovers. They have said so themselves. Don’t why he even signed with the hogs. They love him so much they are going to pay out of state tuition for a year.
