i have a feeling this 2011 recruiting class is going to be excellent.

our instate crop seems to be fantastic

  2. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

    8 instate offers already!

  3. Firehouse Firehouse says:

what about all the 4*s & 5*s some folks are so worried about???

  4. nate nate says:

just read espn 150 top recruits and saw that AR has couple of OL or DL, did we offer them?

  5. joshua joshua says:

The interesting thing is that many of the in-state guys getting offers first are ones that I didn’t really know were on the radar screen.

  6. yellcohog yellcohog says:

CBP,and staff are tireless recruiters. I sure like the way their staying on these kids. Thats cool.Go Hogs Go!!!!!!!!

  7. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

Well, these guys are juniors and I’m sure some haven’t been evaluated. With Petrino offering so early (unlike last year) I believe these guys are his first choice.

The lame sarcasm is boring. Try posting an original thought.

  8. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

I didn’t know about Smothers, but I heard about this kid.

  9. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

It’d rock if we got some commitments this weekend. I bet we offer 15-20 instate kids before it’s all said and done.

  10. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

    “Try posting an original thought.”

This from the guy who wore out his keyboard with ‘suggestions’ to the coaching staff to offer instate players last class?

  11. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

Those were original thoughts. I didn’t hear anyone else saying it.

  12. yellcohog yellcohog says:

Who was he talkin too about the lame sarcasm?

  13. GonzoHog GonzoHog says:

Yeah, Radio Jay ought to be happy now. The coaches are doing exactly what he told them to do.

  14. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

I’m very happy we are offering these Arkansans early. We get about 15 committed we can narrow down the out-of-state athletes that we want and recruit them hard instead of having to recruit so many to fill 20 slots.

  15. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

My 10 year old doesn’t even name-call like you do, Gonzohog.

  16. 9-WinsSuitsMe 9-WinsSuitsMe says:

I’ll be very happy if Arkansas wins 9 games in the 2010 football season. We play some national powerhouse SEC teams. These new recruits will help us get to 9 wins IMO. Go Hogs.

  17. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

    “Those were original thoughts.”

Hardly. Take a stroll around some other blogs. There are many who subscribe to this parochial outlook. At other programs too.

  18. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“My 10 year old doesn’t even name-call like you do, Gonzohog.”

Yeah cause Gonzo does it better. ;^)

  19. GonzoHog GonzoHog says:

Good for him, Radio Jay. Neither one of my sons art dumb enough to believe I’m perfect.

  20. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

I didn’t see them. So it’s original to me.

  21. Firehouse Firehouse says:

I’m worried there may be some more 5 star Jackel Twins out there???

no, because my son is mature enough to know it’s stupid to call people names.

  24. yellcohog yellcohog says:

I dont know about all the stars BS, but if Petrino gives them offers then thats good enough for this Hog fan. I really dont think that CBP is gonna give offers to these kids so we can get our asses kicked. He sees something in the kid,not the stars.

  25. HonestAbeHog HonestAbeHog says:

I’m a typical loyal Hog fan. I don’t make demands. I’ll be very happy and entertained if Arkansas wins 9 games this 2010 football season.

We play several national powerhouse football teams in the SEC. I love the excitement the games bring and pulling for these young men.

  26. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

Well, I guess McKinney didn’t grow up a diehard Razorback. Hopefully, we’ll get him. If Petrino offers him these guys this early then they must be big-time.

  27. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

    “So it’s original to me.”

Broaden your horizons, cousin. There are vanishingly few ‘original thoughts’ out there.

And do get some thick skin. You’re gonna need it if a lot of these kids accept and turn out to be 3*…;^)

  28. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

I’m worried there may be some more 5 star Jackel Twins out there???

No need to worry about Joekel twins when we already have them instate! Go Hogs!

  29. Firehouse Firehouse says:

How are we going to stay on the field with those Internet Wonderboys at College Station??? Where is my prozac bottle???

  30. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

False. These are instate kids. I love instate kids. And don’t assume you know me or how thick my skin based on my anonymous post on this blog.

  32. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

“no, because my son is mature enough to know it’s stupid to call people names.”

    Not at 10, he’s not.

    By Hawgfan100 on Feb 6, 2010 @ 9:03pm

Yes, he is. You don’t know him so don’t assume anything. He doesn’t call people names. I raise him right.

  33. HonestAbeHog HonestAbeHog says:

9 wins is possible in 2010 in football. That would be an improvement over this season and be very successful and I think it’s a possibility of happening.

These 2011 Arkansas recruits may even help Arkansas to win 10 games some year before they graduate. That would be fun to watch them and support them.

  34. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

yellcohog, thanks for commenting on my story.

I agree but the issue is when instate kids want to sit on the hour for months and months. I hope some of these kids pull the trigger and don’t play the recruiting game too long. To be offered as a WR by Petrino certainly means something.

  36. Firehouse Firehouse says:

MrP, when my 6 year old grandson calls his 3 year old brother a “baby” the fight is on big time!! lol

  37. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

HogInBama, I think that’s why we are offering so early. I’m hoping mist of these kids commit between now and the summer.

  38. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“And don’t assume you know me or how thick my skin based on my anonymous post on this blog.”

The way you ‘anonymously’ hang your ass out on this blog, I feel I know every hair on it. And your skin is too thin. Work on it or they’re gonna be callin’ you ‘crybaby jay’.

“Yes, he is. You don’t know him so don’t assume anything.”

I know this: anything that is convenient to someone’s argument is usually too convenient, if you know what I mean.

  39. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

Hawgfan100, you really don’t have a clue. You think you’re above it all, but half of your post are dedicated to me in one way or another. The only difference between you and Gonzohog is the namecalling.

  40. GonzoHog GonzoHog says:

I doubt he knows what you mean, Hawgfan100. Radio Jay is the reference I use for “Jay in Cabot”, but I doubt he’s smart enough to realize it.

  41. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“…but half of your post are dedicated to me in one way or another.”

Well, since you’re really the only foil on this site, of course half my posts concern you. I don’t usually disagree often with anyone else here. Just you…amazin’, huh?

  42. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

Gonzohog, you didn’t make up Radio. DVD did.

  43. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“I doubt he knows what you mean, Hawgfan100.’

He may not, Gonzo, he certainly may not…

  44. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

Hawgfan100, I can see it now. You get on here and read Richard’s updates and then look fort
post immediately. I’m flattered that such a

    you’ll read
    my
    stories on bornhogwild.fantake.com

  45. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

I’m glad I get so much attention. Please go to bornhogwild.fantake.com and read more.

  46. Pig-in-a-Poke Pig-in-a-Poke says:

Good lord. Are you guys going to do this again? Can’t you guys play nice? Ever? Let’s put the bickering aside and talk about recruiting. I thought I heard Trey Biddy talk about a DT in Forest City that the coaches were paying lots of attention to. Anybody know who he was talking about?

  47. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

He did, Pig-in-a-poke. I don’t know who the DT is though.

  48. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“You get on here and read Richard’s updates and then look fort
    post immediately.”

You’re half right as usual. After I check out Richard’s stuff, I read any ancillary posts in hopes of gleaning more useful info. Typically though, I run across you trading posts with one or more of your ‘admirers’. This can be entertaining in itself so I hang around. If I hang around long enough, you’ll post something that needs a reply. Badly. Just a matter of time.

  49. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“Can’t you guys play nice? Ever?”

    Rhetorical question, right?

  50. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

    “That’s why I don’t read your BS on bornhogwild.fantake.com.”

True. If what you post here is indicative, I get enough of that, here.

  51. Pig-in-a-Poke Pig-in-a-Poke says:

I searched the Rivals database and I haven’t found any DTs in Forest City. I think 3-5 of this next crop of instate kids are going to be rated 4*. I also think Cook and Frazier will be rated 5*.We should put an awesome class together. I really hope we can get Chris Barnett to call the Hogs.

  52. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

    I agree, Pig-in-a-Poke.

  53. GonzoHog GonzoHog says:

    Hawgfan100,

I like blake, but what in the world was he thinking? I’m just not that forgiveful, to say the least.
I realize other posters get tired of all the bickering, but geez, what the hell are we supposed to do, just accept it and listen to it?
Look, when I hear BS, I’m going to address it, plain and simple. I don’t know any other way, do you?

  54. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

    “Is this blog for women…”

Not that I know of, but then that begs the question: why are you here?

“I would love to talk about Razorback football and keep it about Razorback football.”

I agree. Let’s see how you do with that.

  55. tomt58 tomt58 says:

I don’t post very much and I enjoy this blog. I don’t always agree with with mrprfct, but most of the time he has very good points. It is funny how alot of people attack everything he says just to argue with him. Could yall please start another blog call “attack mrprfct” If you would do that i would not have to read all of you childish arguments and read about the razorbacks.

  56. oldhog oldhog says:

When is the spring red-wtite game?

  57. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

oldhog, I haven’t seen a date posted yet. I’m interested in knowing that as well.

  58. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“Look, when I hear BS, I’m going to address it, plain and simple. I don’t know any other way, do you?”

No I don’t. I like blake also but I don’t find myself on his blog. Not because of who may or may not be posting there. I just don’t have the time.

  59. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

    Thanks, tomt58.

  60. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“..but most of the time he has very good points. It is funny how alot of people attack everything he says just to argue with him.’

This tells me you’re not really paying attention.

  61. oldhog oldhog says:

Just browsed the Texas 2011 recruits & several list Ark as a school of interest.

  62. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

It’s important to take advantage of playing in Dallas every year and land some of those Texas guys. I like that we are hitting Arkansas hard early. We have that pipeline to Tulsa established and we can do the same with the Dallas area.

  63. tomt58 tomt58 says:

    hawgfan100,
how did i know someone would have to say something. Your right i don’t pay very much attention when I see blogs that are attacking people, you seam to have a lot of negative post. I come to this web site to read about the razorbacks. When you and others start the personal attacks you waist my time. Go somewhere else to post that mess.

  64. oldhog oldhog says:

Do you know that Texas has a population greater than all the other states that border Arkansas & Arkansas combined. It’s no wonder they have so many good football players. Arkansas & LSU are the two closest SEC schools which should be a big selling point for us.

  65. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

oldhog, I know LSU hits the Houston area hard. We do need to always recruit Texas.

  66. Pig-in-a-Poke Pig-in-a-Poke says:

I was meesing around on that Rivals database earlier and I found that we are going after some great LBs and DEs in the next class. It just looks like the coaching staff isn’t slowing down a bit with the recruiting. Our defense will be a real SEC defense in a couple of seasons.

  67. Pig-in-a-Poke Pig-in-a-Poke says:

    *messing not meesing

  68. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“how did i know someone would have to say something.”

Because you typically get responses when you level insinuations like you did up thread?

“…I see blogs that are attacking people…”

I don’t attack people. Typically I call them out on their comments/positions. The ‘negativity’ comes when they realize they can’t defend their comments/positions. Pay attention. You’ll notice the difference.

“Go somewhere else to post that mess.”

    Not likely.

  69. HogFanBrad HogFanBrad says:

Oldhog that’s an interesting piece of information regarding the populations of surrounding states. “We need to recruit Texas better. There’s no doubt about that. It’s something we certainly are working hard at”. That sounds like something CBP would say. He is always saying “no doubt about that” and “certain(ly)”. Although I’m making fun of him, I wouldn’t trade coaches with another school other than maybe BAMA. He’s heading us in the exact right direction.

  70. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

tomt58, you can’t win with these guys. In their eyes they do no wrong. Ron has come back and we apologized to each other and even exchanged some emails.

Hawgfan100 doesn’t seem to have a position. He just comments on mine.

  71. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“…I wouldn’t trade coaches with another school other than maybe BAMA.”

    Seriously?

  72. GonzoHog GonzoHog says:

    tom58,

Ron in Germany pretty much feels the same way I do about this cat who calls himself MRPRFCT. That’s why he left, but he’s back now, trying to play nice.
I, on the other hand, choose not to do so and I’m sue Hawgfan100 feels the same way.

As far as MRPRFCT knowing more than I do, especially about Razorback Sports/recruiting, it never really crossed my mind.

I don’t claim to be an expert on anything. I also don’t go around bragging about the IQ rating I had in the 3rd grade either.
There’s a reason many can’t stand this guy named MRPRFCT. I’m just one of many.
I’m sorry that you seem to have a problem with it.

  73. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“In their eyes they do no wrong.”

Only a fool would believe that, right, mperfect? Now I’ll let this personal attack slide but don’t make a habit of it.

    “Hawgfan100 doesn’t seem to have a position.”

If you’re in any way in the dark on how I feel about a given topic, all you have to do is ask.

  74. Pig-in-a-Poke Pig-in-a-Poke says:

I read where BP plans on building a big presence in Texas. They are going to focus on San Antonio and Dallas/Fort Worth areas. He said they were going to forget about South Florida. They were also going to try and establish recruiting trails in Mississippi. So eventually our recruiting area will be Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, North Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and North Florida. I’m happy to see us getting back into Texas stronger, but I’m happier that we are trying to establish ourselves in Saint Louis and Memphis.

  75. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

Mississippi is gonna be hard to recruit. It seems everyone
    has their hands in Mississippi.

  76. Pig-in-a-Poke Pig-in-a-Poke says:

I think with Caldwell we’ll be able to better stick our hands in their too. Hopefully we can start snagging a few of those Olive Branch kids.

  77. Pig-in-a-Poke Pig-in-a-Poke says:

    *there not their

  78. PK PK says:

i think the Adams, Childs, & Wright..Gragg have shown BP that AR can produce some big time WR/ATH…maybe why he was quoted as saying he was pleasantly suprised about the amt of passing AR high schools do.

This kid certainly has the measurables

  79. tomt58 tomt58 says:

    gonzohog,

This will be my last post on this subject to you. I don’t agree with everything that is said on this site. Every now and then I will have a discussion about football. I believe I had one with you about “playing with emotions” after the franklin-Georgia game. I don’t have to write something every time I disagree. There is an old say “keep your mouth shut and let people think you are stupid, or open your mouth and let people know you are stupid. I want to know about the razorbacks, I filter out a lot of garbage, but I get tired of reading through your arguments. The razorbacks are why I come to this web site. It looks like I will have to find another source.

  80. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

    tomt58, stick around.

  81. Pig-in-a-Poke Pig-in-a-Poke says:

tomt58, don’t leave the blog. These guys aren’t going to stop. I think they have become more interested in fighting with MR P than discussing Razorback athletics. But there are still quite a few of us who like to talk sports.

  82. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“I don’t care how you feel about anything. the only time I read your posts is when you quote mine. Otherwise I ignore you. Now, I’m going to ignore you regardlesss.”

I offer nicely to prove your insinuations to be just what they are and you run away? This is becoming all too typical of you, mperfect. Don’t make statements you’re not prepared to defend, especially concerning me.

  83. MRPRFCT MRPRFCT says:

Run away? Call it that if you want. I just don’t want to argue anymore. You (Gonzohog, hogfan1509, and others) and I will never argue again. Your posts will be ignored. Starting NOW.

  84. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

I must walk this dog who’s gnawing on my leg. Don’t worry though, I haven’t run off; I’ll be back shortly.

  85. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

    Yep. I do.

“Your posts will be ignored. Starting NOW.”

This will be my first and last personal attack on this blog. You are so caught up in being right and better than anyone else you miss the purpose of this site. Your hate for mrprfct has blinded you. I don’t know if you have short man sendrome or what? I don’t care what your problem is. Anyone who argues about personal stuff is ruining this web site. I realize that tonight i have contributied to that and I am sorry to every one. I hope my last statement makes you feel better.

HAWGFAN100 IS BETTER THAN ME. HE HAS WON THIS VERBAL FENCING MATCH, I HAVE LOST. I GIVE UP.

  92. GonzoHog GonzoHog says:

    tomt58,

I get what your saying, really. I’m sorry if I offended you or wasted your time by posting negative things to Radio Jay. I guess my BS tolerence level just isn’t what it needs to be.

Regardless, I’m sure Radio Jay appreciates your respect, so let’s just try and move forward from here on out.

    Goodnight.

  93. Hawgfan100 Hawgfan100 says:

“Your hate for mrprfct has blinded you.”

Hardly. I don’t hate anyone on this site. I simply know mperfect for what he is and I’m not afraid to call him on it. The fact that you and others will let him slide (whether you just don’t see it or are not fond of confrontation…) doesn’t matter to me. Not my problem. Dealing with his bs is occasionally my problem and I’ll deal with my problems as I see fit. Thank you. Goodnight.

I wouldnt trade coaches with Bama,or any other school for that matter. CBP is gonna take us right where we need to go,and thats to a national championship.I dont believe icould have that much faith in any other coach at this point of the game. Furthermore i believe we will beat Bama this year and with that comes the SEC West.SEC title comes next, and honestly i dont know who will challenge us onthat. Some say Spurrier, but i believe we will take him too. I may be looking through my hog colored glasses, but all i can say is Go Hogs Go!!!

I would like us to sign a bumper crop from Arkansas, but I don’t see us getting 15. First, I feel Petrino will always recruit nationally more than locally. Second, Some of these kids will go somewhere else. They always do. Third, we don’t know how many will qualify.

I hope to get a list together in the next week or so of players I would like us to go after.

  105. Ron in Germany Ron in Germany says:

Hawgfan100, GonzoHog and MRPRFCT. It’s time to man up and let it go. Nobody else is interested in the attacks. If I can do it then you guys can.

    Richard,

Patrino will love this guy if he comes in at about 260 and will use him in a spread offense with his “best in the SEC wide receivers set”

If you don’t load the box, he will have a huge day and if you do the receivers will. I can’t wait to see it! visions of the BUS

I Know CBP loves big backs but this kid is an SEC talent.(IMO) Also I wonder if we recruit Dylan Hale if it will be at WR instead of RB? Everyone seems to be onboard except you. We want you onboard too ! ! ! And I am sure we all have some positive things to say about the Hogs, without attacking one another. Help us out here ! Not angry.

“We all love the blog Richard provides for us (Free of charge)’

    Not pertinent.

“We need to show all those great players we want to attract we are better than the other schools sites.”

As long as ‘we’ don’t attack individual players, I seriously doubt this matters to them.

“Everyone seems to be onboard except you. We want you onboard too ! ! !”

I’ve been onboard for most of this stuff. Just find me a seat well away from the rest of you when y’all feel the need to start all that ‘touchy-feely’ crap.

“And I am sure we all have some positive things to say about the Hogs, without attacking one another. Help us out here !’

I didn`t post this because he committed to Auburn but because he is from Cullman, AL. Cullman has put a ridiculous number of OL in the SEC for a town of 15,000. thank you everyone. It is great to read about the razorbacks. I would love for us to have a strong start this year in recruiting. I really don’t like waiting for the fat lady to sing before we know who we get. I think when you start strong it helps for a strong finish, which BP knows how to do. Lets get the solid core from Arkansas and then go after some big fish outside of the state. I like the fact we are leaving south Florida and headed to Texas.

  181. belpa zhog belpa zhog says:

Rivals.com ranking shows Ole Miss at #17 and Arkansas at #48 in recruiting. However we have sportswriters who like Petrino that they are giving him better recruiting grades than HDN and Ole Miss. These homers sportswriters even asserts that there is no difference in 5 star recruits and 2 star or no star recruits because that is where the majority of Arkansas recruits are: 3 or 2 stars compared to stables of 4 stars recruits for Florida, Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Ole Miss. We need to demand more than 2 and 3 star recruits.

  182. Rodney Rodney says:

Well MRPRFCT I just talked to my brother and he said that Antonio’s Aunt lives off John Barrow… How did you know that are you a cop..? Ron I dont think my brother wants to ask him that and plus they arent like best buddys… But I think he’s ok on the grades.

  185. blindhog blindhog says:

It will be interesting to follow this recruiting class. It will test CBP ability to defy the star system. He will have to coach up 3 stars to 4 star level to compete. If he can pull this off, everyone will really have to rethink the established rating system. But his theory is they are really already 4 star quality. Hope he is right.

  186. GonzoHog GonzoHog says:

    blindhog,

good to hear from you again ‘ol friend. I believe the same thing.
It’ll be interesting to see what CBP does with a so-called, under-rated recruiting class.
He’s certainly already passed that test at Louisville, but I think a lot of people seem to think that won’t come as easy in the SEC. They could right, but I’m not buying into the rankings system these players have been subjected to by all the big recruiting services.

The last time I checked, Rivals listed us as having 8 players rating a 5.7 3 star and 1 listed as a 5.8 4 star recruit.
We also couldn’t sign as many recruits this year as some of the other highly ranked classes like Auburn’s.
I believe 5 of their signees we’re counted back to last years class.

I believe there is more theory/rhetoric/politics going into these rankings than most want to believe. Call me a homer, but that’s my opinion.

  187. belpa zhog belpa zhog says:

GonzoHog, let’s be vocal and demanding as we did HDN and possibly fly banners during games to get attention as we did HDN. I do not suggest striking. We need to support the PLAYERS all the time. Win or lose. But we are to demand more from our highly paid coaches.

  188. GonzoHog GonzoHog says:

    belpa zhog,

I agree with your assesment of expecting big things from highly paid coaches, but I hardly put CBP in the same catagory with HDN, and I doubt that I ever will.

It’s an old story, but I think HDN proved on the field over his 10 year tenure that he was not the man/HC to take us to the next level.
So far, i’m very happy with our present HC and expect even bigger things in future.

If you want to fly a banner, be my guest, but i’m pretty sure you’ll be standing on that island by yourself.

belpha you can fly a banner… how about these for ideas.

    Go Hogs! Win the SEC!

    Mallett for Heisman!

Petrino for Coach of the Year!

    Touchdown Arkansas!

and the list would go on and on, but you get the idea.

Heck if you got the bucks for it fly a banner over the stadium every game, and get a full page ad in the paper with similar messages.

    Woo Pig Sooie!!

  190. GonzoHog GonzoHog says:

Now that’s what i’m talkin ’bout!

    How ’bout dem Hawgs?!!!

  191. DIEHARDHOG DIEHARDHOG says:

    I like

    “Mallett for He15man 2010!!!”

Fly it over for every game….

You know what else would rock, since we are going to put so much effort in making our demands, lets figure out where our top prospects play and fly over their high school games with a banner telling them to call the Hogs!

I gotta say this is the best recruiting class for Football and Basketball to come out of Arkansas in a long time.

More so football, I think there have been some GREAT basketball classes that are hard to compare with, but this is still a good one.

let’s be vocal and demanding as we did HDN and possibly fly banners during games to get attention as we did HDN. I do not suggest striking. We need to support the PLAYERS all the time. Win or lose. But we are to demand more from our highly paid coaches.

I hope you`re joking. People didn`t fly banners at home games because HDN didn`t recruit as well as we all hoped. CBP has done nothing but improved every year. If we start with that whole wearing black shirts to games flying banners over the stadium BS(over not having a top 10-15 class) we`ll ruin Razorback football. WE got so lucky Vick got caught in the dog fighting case that CBP wanted to get out by any means necessary.

  193. belpa zhog belpa zhog says:

Big Boi, I stand corrected. HDN did not recruit well while at Arkansas but was hated for his play calling. I didn’t mean to rile up so many fans in so short a time. Sorry guys.

  194. GonzoHog GonzoHog says:

It’s all good. We all like to see our recruiting classes ranked high, but the prodution on the field is what matters the most.
As long as CBP puts improving results on the football field, it’s really going to be hard to argue about the recruiting rankings.

    GO HOGS GO, BABY!!!!!

I think the steal of this class will be Darion Griswold of Dumas. He is about 6’5 and about 230 pounds. He is a qb. I think he has great upside with a little one on one with Coach McGee he could be a great one.

belpa zhog, Keep posting this is a great site Richard makes available for us Hawg fans.

  197. wesman58 wesman58 says:

Okay–I kept on reading Richard’s blog and though I tried to resist, I just could not help but post, since everybody’s being nice and all lol. (At least I have managed to maintain my health-related resolutions for the new year!) I felt somebody should respond to RAZ’s earlier post about Malvern’s Grady Ollison. I have seen Grady play several times, and he almost looks thin at his listed 260; he can no doubt carry several more pounds. He occasionally dominates plays and even whole series, but not with the consistency that his physical tools allow. I have heard nothing negative about his character, which is a definite plus. If he gets serious this year about realizing his potential he could make a great Razorback, and I’m rooting for him.

  198. RAZ RAZ says:

    Thanks wesman58….I had given up.
