Coffeyville CC TE/DE Brandon Mosley appeared to be heading to Arkansas on Sunday for an official visit but apparently has decided to visit Kansas State instead.
Gainesville, (Fla) LB Kevin Nelson said he and CB Devont’a Davis will make official visits to Arkansas on the Jan. 15-17 weekend. He said OC Paul Petrino visited his school on Thursday.
OC Paul Petrino made in-home visit to WR Marquel Wade Thursday night. Wade, who’s orally committed to the Hogs, scored 36 points in a recent basketball game.
DT Damien Jacobs of Houma (La.) H. L. Bourgeois said DC Willy Robinson visited his school on Monday. He said he will probably make an official visit to Arkansas. He’s currently committed to Florida State.
Florida quarterback Clint Trickett, 6-2, 180, 4.6 of Tallahassee, (Fla.) North Florida Christian said he talks to OC Paul Petrino every week and it’s possibility that he may visit Arkansas. He’s currently committed to Florida State.
RC/RB coach Tim Horton will be in Little Rock for the Class 5A state championship game between Camden Fairview- Monticello tonight. DC Willy Robinson, DEC Kirk Botkin and LBC Reggie Johnson are expected to join Horton for Saturday’s games with Pine Bluff -El Dorado in the Class6A match up and the Class 7A FS Southside and Springdale Har-Ber championship game.
DL Eric Humphrey of Parish Episcopal School in Dallas will make official visits to Colorado, Wake Forest, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Arkansas. He plans to make unofficial visits to Baylor and TCU. OLC Mike Summers did an in-home visit with Humphrey Thursday night.
RC Tim Horton visited with Russellville K Zack Hocker on Thursday and informed him Arkansas wasn’t planning to offer him but invited him to walk-on. I’ll have a story up soon.
2011 RB Wesleigh Foster of Clarksville has been invited to the Jan. 1 Under Armour combine in Orlando.
K Eddie Camara said he scored 95 points in 11 games this season and finished his career with 41 FGs , which he reports is second best in Texas history.
