Offensive lineman Luke Charpentier, who orally committed to Arkansas on Tuesday, thinks some hogs might have been trying to tell him to be a Hog.

”I don’t know if they’re messages or something from God but lately we’ve been having some hogs coming to the house and tearing up all the grass,” Charpentier said. “We’ve had to do some hog hunting and we’ve never seen any hogs down there before in our lives.”

Charpentier, 6-4 ½, 305, 5.10 of River Ridge, (La.) John Curtis chose the Razorbacks over SMU, Southern Miss, Tulane and about 6 others schools.

As Charpentier and his parents were driving back home from his unofficial visit from Arkansas on Saturday, they found out how rabid Razorbacks can be as they stopped to eat at restaurant in Pine Bluff.

“I told the waitress that I went to the Arkansas game and I was going to be a future Razorback and they wanted my autograph,” Charpentier said. “They love their football in Arkansas.”
