Thamail Morgan’s stock has shot up since coach Jon Bradley sent out his highlight tape to numerous colleges recently.
Cave City safety/linebacker, 6-0, 211, 4.50 impressed Arkansas enough to invite him on an unofficial visit for the Eastern Michigan game.
“He’s had a very good year for us,” Bradley said. “I’ve used him sparely on offense because he’s such a play maker on defense. He’s the leader for us on that side of the ball.”
Morgan, who had 117 receiving yards, 1 touchdown and rushed for about 40 yards in about a half of play in the Cave Men’s 26-7 loss to Harrisburg, is also getting a lot of interest from Oregon State.
“I’ve probably talked to them five times,” Bradley said of Beavers.
Morgan, who has recorded 109 tackles, over 20 tackles for losses, 2 forced fumbles, along with returning an interception and fumble for touchdowns in 8 games, is a leader on the field for the Cave Men.
“He’s pretty intense, even in practice” Bradley said. “He gets on guys and on his self. He’s a gamer. He’s going to play all the time. He wants everyone else to perform at the same level but he’s one of the first ones to keep the atmosphere light and understand football is supposed to be fun.”
