Warren middle linebacker Eldon Thompson orally committed to Tulsa today after visiting the school earlier in the week.
“I felt comfortable there,” said Thompson, who recorded 136 tackles, 4 sacks and 2 forced fumbles last year. “They made me feel welcomed there. I like the feeling I get from Tulsa. I think the coaches can help me to the next level. I like the football program and their facilities.”
Thompson, 6-3, 230, 4.6 also received interest from Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, and Louisiana Tech.
He said the Tulsa coaches have indicated that he could play middle or outside linebacker.
