DL LaCraig Brown, 6-4, 260, 4.9, of Monroe, La., visited TCU today and received an offer. He now has offers from Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi State, Louisiana Tech and the Horn Frogs.

Tulsa DE gleans plenty from camp

Defensive end Ray Stovall is one of several prospects from Tulsa’s Booker T. Washington High School who attended Arkansas’ senior camp. Athlete Eric Bennett and defensive tackle Calvin Barnett, who have scholarship offers from the Hogs, also made their way to Fayetteville along with 2011 linebacker Derrick Alexander.

OL came to impress

Offensive lineman Jeremy Burton 6-2 ½, 304, 5.21 of Muskogee, Okla., made his way to Fayetteville for Arkansas’ senior camp July 19 in hopes of impressing the Razorback coaching staff.

Seizing every opportunity, Michigan product says

With about 300 athletes attending Arkansas’ football camp, one might worry about getting lost in the shuffle. Defensive lineman Tremondae Branch, 6-1, 277, 5.0, of Carman-Ainsworth in Flint, Mich., thinks the Arkansas coaches did a good job of running the camp.

7 from NLR attend Oklahoma State camp

North Little Rock coach Brad Bolding took seven athletes to the Oklahoma State football camp last weekend, including  S Colby Miller, 5-10, 190, 4.4, DE Bryan McCleary, 6-2, 230, 4.69,  WR  Devonte Rich, 5-11, 175, 4.5, DL De’Arius Hudson, 6-0, 360, 5.3  and TE/DE Justin Henderson, 6-3, 242, 4.79 .

Green cleared to play

Running back Broderick Green has been cleared by the NCAA to play football this season at the University of Arkansas. The former USC player made the decision to transfer to Arkansas last year.
