DE Evans orally commits to UA

Defensive end Caleb Evans has orally committed to Arkansas, with the intention to play in the 2009 season. Evans, 6-4, 250 pounds, 4.60, is from Palomar Community College.

There’s a good chance Arkansas’ commitment list could expand in the near future. North Carolina defensive end/linebacker Chris Smith and athlete P.J. Clyburn are planning to visit Fayetteville June 5-7.
