Charles Dement of Paris, Arkansas was one visitor that attended Arkansas’ junior day in April that looked the part of an offensive lineman.
Dement 6-6, 285, 5.5 had several Arkansas coaches talking to him before the start of the day. He plans to return to Fayetteville for the three day football camp in June and the senior’s only camp on July 19.
Dement is receiving interest from Arkansas, Ole Miss and Arkansas State.
“I think I’m probably the strongest in pass blocking,” said Dement, who reports a 280-pound bench press and 450 squat. “We’re probably sixty (percent) run and forty (percent) pass.”
Dement was upfront about Arkansas being his favorite school.
“They would be my first pick,” he said. “I’ve been to the school and met with some of the coaches.”
