Calendar, Rasner and Tate heading to Fayetteville

DE Ryan Calendar said he’s on his way to Fayetteville. He’s bringing up RB Nathan Jefferys to see the campus. Jefferys, 5-11, 180, 4.45 has rushed for over 4,000 yards the last two seasons for Caddo Mills. Arkansas is looking at him as a DB. Ronnie Wingo Jr. won the 100 and 200 meters at the Missouri state track meet today. He recorded FAT times of 10.59 in the 100 and 21.44 in the 200.

Wingo and Hill update

Ronnie Wingo Jr. ran times of 10.59 and 21.3 in the 100 and 200 meters at the state meet on Friday. Both times were FAT. The finals are today. Marquise Hill ran a 22.3 time in the 200. Wingo will report to Arkansas on June 26.

Defensive end Caleb Evans has orally committed to Arkansas, with the intention to play in the 2009 season. Evans, 6-4, 250 pounds, 4.60, is from Palomar Community College.
