The Little Rock Christian junior duo of tight end/ defensive end Dakota Mosley and running back Michael Dyer traveled down to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to attend the Crimson Tide take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Nov. 15.
Mosley made trip with his father, Harrison, and Dyer was accompanied by his uncle, Andre Dyer.
“It was real nice,” Mosley said. “The facilities were great. The coaches were real nice. The atmosphere was actually amazing. It was probably the best football atmosphere I’ve been in.”
Mosley (6-5, 240, 4.87) recorded 36 receptions for 471 yards, 5 touchdowns and had 8 rushes for 28 yards. Defensively, he racked up 33 solo tackles, 29 assisted tackles, 6 sacks and 9 quarterback hurries.
He and Dyer have attended a couple of Razorbacks this season. Mosley said the pregame route is much the same at Alabama.
“You go in and they feed you and then you go out and watch the warm-ups and then take your seat,” Mosley said. “After the game you go watch Coach Saban’s press conference that he has a on a big screen and the he comes in and talks and the other coaches come in.”
After the game, Mosley interacted with Saban and assistant coach Bobby Williams, who requested video.
“I talked to him (Williams) and talked to Coach Saban,” he said. “Coach Williams wanted me to send more film back to him and sent some more this past week. He was saying thanks for coming and he was looking forward to seeing more film.”
Mosley, who’s receiving interest from over 20 schools, including Oklahoma, Alabama, LSU, Virginia, Clemson, Auburn, Kansas State and Georgia, has started receiving mail from Illinois and Nebraska.
