NLR DE changes mind

North Little Rock defensive end Anthony Rogers, 6-4, 230, 4.7 has changed his oral commitment from Mississippi State to Oklahoma State. Roger’s decision comes after Bulldog  Coach Sylvester Croom announced his resignation on Saturday following five seasons on the job.

LR Christian pair see Tide take on Bulldogs

The Little Rock Christian junior duo of tight end/ defensive end Dakota Mosley and running back Michael Dyer traveled down to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to attend the Crimson Tide take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Nov. 15.

Quarterback coach Garrick McGee traveled to Fort Scott Community College last Friday to check on receiver Brandon Kinnie, 6-3, 215, 4.4 and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul, 6-6, 260, 4.6.

Swanson in elite company in Texas

Offensive lineman Travis Swanson, who orally to Arkansas during the summer, has been nominated as one of the Top 10 players within the Greater Houston area for Offensive Player of the Year.

Warren QB back in limited action after breaking leg

Warren junior quarterback Hayden Smith suffered a broken leg against Star City on Oct. 3 but was back on the field in the Lumberjacks 41- 6 win over Pulaski Robinson last week. He saw limited action, completing one pass for 17 yards.
