Coach: Gem of a player in Fortson

Courtney Fortson’s summer basketball coach, Mark Komara of Southeast Elite in Alabama, said Arkansas is getting a winner whose work ethic rubs off on his teammates.
“Counting summer ball and the last two years of high school and prep school,” Komara said. “I think he’s lost a total of 14 games the last four years. He doesn’t know what losing is.

“If you’re down by 5 with a minute to go and they have the ball, he’ll find a way to win. When they see how hard he plays, everyone else just raises to the occasion. He’s just got it. He’s just relentless.”
