New hoopsters planning arrivals

Arkansas’ basketball signees will arrive on campus at different times in the next few months.

 

Oklahoma combo-guard Rotnei Clarke, 6-1, 175, will graduate from Verdigris High School in Claremore on May 16 and begin classes at Arkansas the 19. Clarke plans to play in the Oklahoma – Texas All Star game June 7. Each team features the ten best seniors of each state.

 

Point guard Courtney Fortson and forward Brandon Moore plan to arrive on the Arkansas campus in June. Moore, 6-9, 215 said he’ll arrive in early June to attend classes and participate in pickup games. Fortson, 5-11, 175 said he’ll get to Fayetteville in late June to play pickup games and work out.

Forward Daniel Payne, 6-7, 210 said he’ll arrive on campus in early July.
